When the Cats are Away...

The little mice will play. At G's house #goliteontheboundaries
It might be if Mom and Daddy have to be out of town that we mice have our own fun.
Of course, we first have work to do...
Feeding the pecking chicken     (Noni--do you remember this?)...
And collecting the eggs.
We might have some trains to conduct...

We might have to go for a walk in the snow...

Or maybe just take a look outside...
And decide it's warmer inside beside the heater
With a snack
 Or two.
We might need to watch cartoons on G's computer.

We might just need to chill.
Sometimes we send pictures with a message...
(There are lots of ways to say, "I Love You!")

Granny's Grocery --Revisited

So we visited Granny's Grocery again last week. It had been a while. She's still open.
Look at that! Granny even has a cash register.

It's a high dollar operation...
And a lot of goods to sell...

Loose weiners...Granny remembers when Lexie McLean's Grocery sold loose weiners, and she would go in to buy 4 loose weiners and 1/4 pound of hamburger for her mama. That would feed 3 way back in the day.
And plastic potato chips that are probably just as good for you as the real ones.
But the patrons are the real deal!

Notice the Gunner-style shopping basket...just stick it in your shirt...
